Job DescriptionJOB DUTIES:
Interpret results from inspections and communicate findings effectively and appropriately to production personnel.
Record the number of welded or machined ends inspected and specific non-conformances by categories for daily reporting purposes.
Serialize material utilizing a hammer and various steel stamps.
Accurately read and interpret product drawings to determine acceptance criteria.
Accurately use measuring equipment (i.
e.
, dial calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, etc.
) and interpret results to determine product acceptance Must be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (outside in all types of weather or inside in a manufacturing environment) for a minimum of 8 hours.
Use simple measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, etc.
).
Must be able to do extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting.
Comply with all NOV, company, and HSE policies and procedures
Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent required Must pass screening exam (math and reading comprehension) with a minimum score of 80% on the math test.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be able to pass an Industrial Eye exam with near visual acuity Recommended Skills Handling And Load Carrying Mathematics Ophthalmology Visual Perception Measurement And Metrology Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
